Each year,we reached out to key buyers participating at a number of trade related events: Boston Seafood Show, Brussels Seafood Exposition, the National Restaurant Show, and the Louisiana Foodservie Expo to the International Chef’s Conference and the Culinary Institute of America’s Grey Stone events.
The Seafood Board utilizes every form of trade media from online and offline publications, to working with and presetting to the national sales teams for Sysco and USA Foods and other main line seafood distributors to drive over $2 billion dollars in retail seafood sales annually.
Louisiana Seafood Chefs Council – Top Chefs from Across the US
Working with the best chefs from across the United States to create the Louisiana Seafood Chefs Council was a passion of mine. We built long term relationships working with marque chefs to promote the Louisiana Seafood brand through media, trade shows and consumer events (Aspen Food & Wine Festival, Vegas Uncork’d, Miami Food & Wine Festival, New Orleans Wine & Food , Experience, Toronto Food and Wine Festival). Through the creativity and outreach working with chefs, we reached thousands of buyers each year to drive trade leads to the industry.
