Hi, I'm Ewell.

For starters, I've been in your shoes, having made a career transition myself gaining control over my time and livelihood.

Prior to that, I spent two decades leading and consulting with major business trade associations.

I consider myself fortunate to have experienced my "ulcer moment" in my early twenties fresh out of grad school, which spurred me, with the support of Jenny (my wife today), to seek fulfillment in my professional journey. I became hyper-intentional in pursuing where my true interests lie.

Along my journey, I had the honor of serving as the Executive Director of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board for nearly 13 years, representing and fighting for thousands of business owners.

We had many good times, but it was leading the seafood industry through Hurricane Katrina and the BP Oil Spill, rebuilding billions in lost sales twice, that taught me two crucial lessons:

  • You have to believe in what you do. Life’s too short to stay in a job you loathe. Through my franchise consulting, I've seen too many people stuck in careers that drain them emotionally. Many come to realize that their current job hasn't provided the financial stability they need.

  • Community is invaluable in both good times and bad. That's why I'm such an advocate for entrepreneurship through franchising, where like-minded individuals support each other. Our franchising community is a passionate group for sure.

I'm here to guide you on your journey to business ownership.
